Square Dinnerware: Plates, Bowls, & Other Squares
I’m not sure just how far square dinnerware goes back in history, but I do love the sleek, often modern look it can lend to the dinner table. Although square plates and dishes are occasionally associated with high-end modern dinnerware lines, a number of companies produce square dishes at very affordable prices.
In addition to looking great, square dinnerware can also save a little room on the table. Because their surface area is larger, square plates and bowls can hold more while measuring slightly less distance across. If you’re planning a party where you may have too many dishes on the table, try using square plates and bowls to ease the crowding a bit.
